Currently, we booked the All-Star Music Family suite. Our issue; We have a teen (who likes to stay up later and a toddler (3.5) who needs her sleep - basically we are paying the price of 2 rms. Is there a better way to go on a budget of $5000 - 7day stay

    Hi Beverly!

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the family suites. Unless guests need the kitchenette or the sitting area, I usually recommend getting 2 connecting rooms instead.  Two rooms provide two bathrooms and four double beds. Generally it is also less expensive to get two rooms.

In my opinion, $5000.00 for a 7 day stay in a Value resort is too expensive. You didn't say when you are going, so I randomly picked a week in May. I was able to price a vacation for 4 with 2 rooms at a Value resort, with tickets, and the Disney Dining Plan for a lot less. Be sure to take advantage of any special offers. For "Room Only" reservations between now and 3 June 2010 (but you must book by 27 March), you can save the following based on type of resort and the number of nights:
    • For Value Resorts, you can save 25% when you stay 1-4 nights. Save 30% when you stay 5 nights or longer.
    • For Moderate Resorts, you can save 30% when you stay 1-4 nights.  Save 35% when you stay 5 nights or longer.
    • For Disney Deluxe Resorts, you can save 35% when you stay 1-4 nights.  Save 40% when you stay 5 nights or longer.
    • For Deluxe Villa Resorts, you can save 40% when you stay 1-4 nights.  Save 45% when you stay 5 nights or longer.

For "Vacation Package" reservations (room and tickets), you get a Disney Gift Card when you stay a minimum of 5 nights/5 days between now and 3 June 2010 (but you must book by 27 March):

    • For Value Resorts, you get a $300 Disney Gift Card
    • For Moderate Resorts,  you get a $500 Disney Gift Card
    • For Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts,  you get a $750 Disney Gift Card
There are also some other saving options available for military members, Annual Passholders, and Florida residents. Just remember that some dates are not available, and rooms are limited and subject to availability.

    Have a magical vacation!
