Hiya Jennifer. Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing this question to us. My oh my, your trip to the Disneyland Resort is nearly here. It won't be long until you're skipping down Main Street, U.S.A. and taking in all of the ambiance of the
Disney100 Celebration.
Part of the Disney100 Celebration included the introduction of two new nighttime spectaculars -
Wondrous Journeys being one of them. This is an absolutely fantastic show in which the projections play such a key role. The music is just wonderful and there are some scenes that I found especially moving.
I chatted with a Cast Member who shared that projections are currently not being shown over the Rivers of America. If you're looking for another viewing spot that's slightly less crowded than Main Street, U.S.A. or Sleeping Beauty Castle, I recommend heading over to "it's a small world" where you will get another marvelous view of the projections. You will also be able to see fireworks from here and all showtimes are subject to cancellation.
There are so many wonderful things happening around the resort for the Disney100 Celebration. If you haven't already, I recommend downloading the
Disneyland app for your visit. There's a handy guide to the festivities that can be found by scrolling down on the home screen of the app. And since you'll be visiting soon, I have to mention the limited engagement,
Rogers: The Musical at the Hyperion Theater in Disney California Adventure Park. I had a chance to see this about a week ago and it's a must-see for any Marvel fan.
Jennifer, I'm sorry this wasn't the answer you were probably hoping for, however, I hope the information was helpful. Come back to visit us with anything else you might want to ask. Until then, here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Michelle
