Hi! I am a current student who moved to So-Cal to attend UC Irvine. I come from out of state and have not had the opportunity to update my ID. Am I able to bring any other proof of residency? Thank you!

Hello, Hallie. Welcome to planDisney and to Southern California! I hope you're loving this sunny weather.

The Southern California Resident Ticket offer is for residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. Each adult using this ticket must show a government-issued photo ID at the entrance gate, like a California Driver's License or California ID, to prove eligible residency. Unfortunately, documents like utility bills, bank statements, or student IDs are not accepted as proof. The good news, Hallie, is these tickets are valid through May 15, 2025, so there is time to update your identification and take advantage of this offer.

There is also a Disneyland Anniversary Ticket offer that provides savings on 3-day and 4-day tickets for a limited time (subject to restrictions). It is not specific to Southern California residents, so proof of residency is not required. It is a great option if you want to experience everything that will come as part of the 70th Anniversary Celebration. And trust me, Hallie, there will be so much to see and do! There will be vibrant decorations, exclusive merchandise, new additions to select attractions, and a number of exciting nighttime spectaculars. I'm the most excited to see the Paint the Night parade.

You can check out the Offers & Discounts page to see if any other deals might work for you. The Disney Parks Blog is a helpful resource for news and tips.

Hallie, I will sprinkle some pixie dust and make a wish that you'll have a chance to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We are always happy to help here at planDisney!

As Mickey would say, “See ya real soon!”
