Hi R! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! While traveling with a large group may come with some challenges, there is no better place to spend your time than at the
Walt Disney World Resort! The countless experiences and magical memories that you are bound to make together will be something to cherish forever.
At your time of booking, it seems as though you may have missed a member of your group when making your reservation. Since the room you chose only sleeps up to nine Guests, you won't be able to add anyone else to this room reservation. Walt Disney World is very strict with its room occupancy, so you'll either need to switch to a room that accommodates all of your Guests, or add an additional room and split the Guests between the two. The only way to fit all 10 Guests into your original room is if one of the children is under the age of three. In this scenario, the toddler will not count toward the occupancy.
There are plenty of
Disney Resorts Hotels that offer rooms that can accommodate up to 12 Guests. Most of these resorts will be
Deluxe Villa Resorts that have three-bedroom grand villas available. If you are staying at one of these resorts, you can
call the Disney Resorts Hotel Reservations line to speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will provide you with the options available for you to upgrade your room. There are also plenty of room options that sleep up to five Guests. In this scenario, you can change your reservation to include two rooms instead of one.
If you are booking this trip as a vacation package that includes both the resort reservation and ticket package, you'll definitely want to square this away soon. The adult Guest that was left off of the original reservation will not have a
ticket package associated with them. They will not be able to make any park pass reservations without a valid ticket purchase beforehand.
R, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming stay! Have a magical time during your visit!
Happy planning!
