There is a current promotion on the Disneyworld Website, for four day minimum four park stay, Dining plan included based on the resort you choose to stay at. My question is, is that dining plan for all ages or only for the 3-9 year olds?

Hi there, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney!

You've rounded up your Mouseketeers. You've set a date. You've set your sights on The Most Magical Place on Earth. But now it's time to make it official! I'm glad that you found the cool dining plan deal that Disney World offers this year. It's my pleasure to dive into its details with you.

Exclusively for 2026, Guests can book a Disney vacation package, add on adult (10+ years old) dining plans, and then receive additional free dining plans for their kids (3-9 years old). As long as every adult in your party has one of the Disney dining plans, the children (and only the children) will get the same dining plan at no additional cost. Keep in mind that if a particular restaurant has a children's menu, the kiddos will use a dining plan credit toward those meal options (versus the full adult menu).

If you're planning on taking advantage of the free dining plan offer, I would book soon because I've read that there is a limited number of vacation packages for it. If you haven't done it yet, you can book it online by yourself. However, you can also speak to a friendly Cast Member who can get you all set up.

Personally, I've yet to use a dining plan with my family, but I'm so glad that they have returned! Many of my friends use it to prepay for their meals and snacks (and refillable Resort mugs) for a more easygoing trip. There are too many delicious things to eat around the Resort, so your biggest "problem" will be choosing where to book your advance dining reservations (if needed).

Speaking of advance dining reservations, you can begin booking those online or in the My Disney Experience app starting 60 days before your vacation begins. Not only that, but you can put your dining plans into place for up to 10 days of your vacation.

AN EXTRA GEM: While you're enjoying all that the Resort has to offer, be sure to make room for an EPCOT Food & Wine Festival visit. It will be in full swing by the time of your fall vacation. It's the best time to taste your way around the world. The dishes and drinks get better and better every year!

Jessica, your family is in for an amazing vacation! Don't hesitate to give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other questions about Disney Destinations. See you real soon!

    Magic always,
