Hey there, Ashley!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us a
fin-tastic Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear you'll be making a splash at The Most Magical Place on Earth very soon! My family
always sets aside time during each Walt Disney World Resort vacation to enjoy the pools at our
Disney Resort hotel. I can't imagine a better way to beat the heat during your upcoming getaway!
Ashley, I checked in with a fabulous Cast Member at
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort who was able to share the current pool hours: 8:00 a.m. to midnight. It's important to note that a lifeguard will only be on duty between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. These current hours apply to both the
Surfboard Bay Pool ("feature pool") and the Grand Slam Leisure Pool ("quiet pool") but are subject to change without notice. My son thoroughly enjoyed spending time at both of these pools during a stay earlier in the year. I found it extremely convenient to order a delicious lunch for us via the My Disney Experience mobile app for a quick pick-up at the nearby
End Zone Food Court!
If you'll be enjoying the pools during your arrival and/or check-out days, rest assured that Disney's All-Star Sports Resort offers clean and convenient changing rooms and showers near the Surfboard Bay Pool, Ashley. We were very surprised to find a full-body dryer in these locker rooms! We were grateful to have access to this amenity when it came time to check out of our room and switch to our next Disney Resort hotel during our stay. You can also check your bags in with
Bell Services so you won't have to lug them to the pool!
Ashley, I hope you've found this information useful as you gear up for a wet and wild escape to Disney's All-Star Sports Resort. If you have any additional questions about how to make a splash during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, you can always revisit us here at
planDisney! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.
See ya real soon,
Lauren
