    What is the current policy on package deliver to your disney resort and/or the front of the park?

    Welcome back to planDisney! I am so excited to hear that you will be celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort in just 10 days! It’s almost time for a single-digit dance celebration. There are so many new experiences created for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. My favorite is Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection, which is made of 50 golden sculptures on display across all 4 theme parks. They will also have the ability to interact with the new MagicBand+ that will be debuting soon. These statues are perfect for photo ops and they don’t mind posing for selfies. Can you find them all?

    I love souvenir shopping in the Walt Disney World Resort. Don’t tell anyone, but my budget for merchandise is greater than my dining budget. Due to the phased reopening of Disney Theme Parks, some services are still paused. At this time the Resort Hotel Delivery and Souvenir Pick-Up services are currently not available. It is unknown when this valuable service will return. It wouldn’t hurt to ask the Cast Member during your checkout process if it’s available. Be sure to check out all the limited edition 50th Anniversary Celebration merchandise available. 

    If not, Hakuna Matata! You can still have purchases shipped to your home, from any Disney retail shop. Just let the Cast Member know before you begin to checkout, and they will set that up for you. Shipping fees will vary based on which service you plan to use UPS or FedEx.
