Oh boy, David!
It's great to see you back here at planDisney. I have April tickets and park reservations myself, yet I can't seem to stop thinking about getting back to the parks for a visit before then. I've even been known to check attraction wait times for absolutely no reason when I'm many states away. But I know I'm not alone in that hobby, as my friends can attest.
If
Disneyland Resort is calling your name for a February visit, you should be able to make adjustments to your current reservation date online. To do this,
log in to your Disney account and navigate to the "My Disneyland" link toward the top of the screen. Scroll down to "My Plans" and then "Manage Reservations." You'll need to cancel your existing April reservations in order to select new dates. This will not cancel your tickets or refund your original admission purchase cost, as
tickets are non-refundable.
When you're ready to reserve new dates, select "Ticket and Reservation Details" under "My Disneyland." Select the second option "If you’ve already purchased a ticket or Magic Key pass." Once you locate your existing tickets, you'll be able to make new theme park reservations, subject to availability. Your tickets and any additional entitlements like the Park Hopper option and
Disney Genie+ add-on will still apply.
If you're hoping to change your travel dates there are a few things you'll want to keep in mind. First, you'll need to confirm whether there is a
tier type specified in the event you purchased a 1-day Park Hopper ticket. If so, you'll be limited to choosing a new date that's at the same tier or lower as your original 1-day ticket tier. Second, if your new date happens to be less expensive than the date you purchased for April, you would not be entitled to a refund or partial credit for the difference. Similarly, if the dates you are hoping to purchase are more expensive than your original dates, you may need to contact a
Cast Member by phone for assistance in upgrading your tickets.
I hope this helps get you on your way to a magical day just as soon as possible. Come back and see us again with any other planning questions. We'd be happy to help!
Wishing you memories and magic,
Amy
