Hi, current park hours during Christmas week are very short & little/no show times are listed. Do you know how soon they will post extended holiday hours and showtimes? I can't believe MK will close at 10pm Christmas week with no fireworks/parade!

    Hi, Nicole!

Visiting Walt Disney World during the most magical time of year is surely a treat; you'll love it!

Throughout the year, park hours are updated often, with even more attention given to those hours surrounding special events. Once dates for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and other Christmas events have been confirmed, you'll likely see park hours revised.

When looking at the more specific Walt Disney World Calendar pages, I like to focus on the posting of Extra Magic Hours for any particular stay. In general, if there are no Extra Magic Hours scheduled for that time, I know that final plans are still underway. Click on the link provided above, then click on the calendar icon to advance to the month you'd like to see. Once there, click on the particular dates of your stay as you keep an eye on updates to park hours, Extra Magic Hours and, of course, nighttime magic. You're sure to see updates added as Disney's plans for the most magical season of all are confirmed.

Please stop by with additional questions as you think of them, Nicole! We love to help!
