Aloha, Kacey! I absolutely adore the South Pacific vibe of
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. From its lush gardens to those flame-lit tiki torches scattered along the pathways, it definitely makes me feel as though I’m on vacation. If I close my eyes, I can almost feel the tropical trade winds gently blowing my troubles away right now. You, too?
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is scheduled to reopen in late July.
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, however, is already open and welcoming guests with a genuine spirit of aloha. Currently, the
Lava Pool is available from 10am-10pm, while the nearby Oasis Pool serves Guests from 7am-11pm. Keep in mind that those hours are subject to change at any time.
One of my favorite ways to spend a day poolside during a stay at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is to stop in at
Pineapple Lanai on my way to the pool and pick up a delicious and refreshing DOLE Whip. It just really adds to that tropical feel. Of course, a
Captain’s Mai Tai from the Barefoot Pool Bar doesn't hurt, either.
No matter how you choose to enjoy your day on the pool deck, I hope you get swept away to island time and enjoy a magical stay.
