What is the current options for transferring during a split stay from GF to BC? Will Disney transport our luggage and us? Planned to use minnie van, but I see no longer an option. Thank you!!

Welcome back to planDisney, Amanda! We love to see a returning guest planning another Magical vacation.

Amanda, my family is only days away from a split stay at Disney's Riviera Resort and Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge so I appreciate this question. Experiencing two different Disney Resorts Collection hotels in one trip always makes me feel like we're squeezing in extra Magic, but with extra Magic comes extra logistical planning.

First, I'm happy to report that Bell Services WILL be able to transfer your luggage from your first resort to the next but please be mindful that it may take a few hours to arrive. (planDisney tip: keep any medications with you in addition to anything you might need for the day, like a swimsuit or park gear.) Bell services IS able to pick up your luggage from your room or you're welcome to bring your bags to the Bell services podium.

Now, Amanda, once you're bags are whisked away, you'll need to make your way to Disney's Beach Club Resort. You are correct that Minnie Van service is unavailable and since the Fairy Godmother isn't turning pumpkins into coaches at the moment, let's see if we can come up with another idea.

If you are not in a rush, you could make your way to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and then use complimentary bus transportation to Disney's Beach Club Resort. An alternate route that will have you traveling as the birds do would be to take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios and then board the Disney Skyliner to Disney's Beach Club Resort. You could also make this trip using a water taxi from Disney's Hollywood Studios to Disney's Beach Club Resort.

Amanda, while I love to save a little green for an extra DOLE whip, sometimes getting somewhere quickly is preferable. In that case, using a rideshare service like Lyft or Uber may be your best bet.

I hope this information is useful as you're contemplating the best way to transfer to Disney's Beach Club Resort. Wishing you a stay that is as spectacular as Cinderella's glass slipper. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney.
