Hey there, Steve! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
I've been an Annual Passholder for several years now and it is well worth the investment. If you have been having some trouble finding out more details about the Florida resident
Annual Pass program, Steve, that would be because it is not being offered at this time. Since the reopening of Walt Disney World last summer, the sale of all new Annual Passes has been temporarily suspended. However, I don't think the program is going anywhere because Guests with current Annual Passes can renew at this time. When the Annual Pass program returns, and I think it will soon, we will be able to find all of the details over on the
Disney Parks Blog so be sure to keep an eye out over there for an announcement.
Until then, Steve, there are some really great
discounts being offered to Florida residents at this time. Currently, you can save up to 40% on a 4-day ticket, 30% on a 3-day ticket and even some on a 1-day ticket. To save time once you are at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, you can now validate your Florida Residency online when purchasing the discounted tickets and no longer have to wait in line when you arrive. To validate your tickets after purchasing online you will need to fill out the "Your Florida Resident Information" form upon check-out. To
verify residency you'll need a valid Florida driver's license, a valid Florida state-issued ID card or a valid Florida-based military ID. Alternate forms of verification are also excepted, such as current proof of mortgage, certain bills, or other mail pieces.
I'm sorry I don't have more information for you regarding the Florida resident Annual Pass program right now but I have my fingers crossed you'll be able to join the passholder family very soon. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and
ask me.
