What is the current hotel cancellation policy at the Grand Californian? I am planning travel in January 2022.

    Welcome to planDisney, Raymond!

Staying at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa is certainly the cherry on top of a magical Disneyland Resort vacation sundae! The hotel is absolutely stunning and mere steps away from the parks. The cancellation policy depends on the type of stay you book. If you make a room-only reservation (which means you don't include theme park tickets at the time of booking your room), you must cancel at least five days prior to the arrival date for a full refund of your hotel booking. Room-only cancellations made less than five days prior to the arrival date will be charged a cancellation fee of the first night's room rate plus taxes and fees.

If you book a Disneyland Resort vacation package (which includes theme park tickets), cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the arrival date will be refunded in full (minus any cancellation fees charged by third-party suppliers or any non-refundable travel protection plan costs). If you cancel your vacation package from five to 29 days prior to the arrival date, you will be refunded all amounts paid except for a $200 cancellation fee (minus any cancellation fees charged by third-party suppliers or any non-refundable travel protection plan costs). If you have to cancel your vacation package four days or less prior to arrival, the full price of the package is non-refundable.

Please keep in mind that this cancellation and refund policy is subject to change.

I hope this helps! Have a magical day!
