Welcome to planDisney, Emily! Thanks for popping by with this fun question today; I always like to keep an eye out for specialty popcorn buckets when I'm in the parks to see if I need to add any new ones to my collection! With the
holiday season in full swing, we're seeing some new options pop up at the theme parks, so let's chat about them!
Emily, here are the recent holiday popcorn bucket offerings that have been spotted in assorted theme parks recently. Keep in mind that availability is always subject to change, as well as locations.
- Traditional holiday-themed popcorn bucket - the standard-size popcorn bucket is available at all four theme parks as well as at Disney Springs. This year's design features an assortment of our favorite Disney characters in holiday attire and scenery.
- Santa Sulley Popcorn Bucket - this cute popcorn bucket features Sulley, adorned in a Santa hat, and his pal Mike Wazowski and is available at popcorn stands at both Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
- Mickey Mouse Elf Popcorn Bucket - this popcorn bucket features Mickey Mouse dressed in his elf attire to celebrate the season! From his elf hat to his pointed shoes, this is probably my favorite one of the season! This bucket is a party exclusive offered only during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at the popcorn cart in Liberty Square and also the popcorn cart on the Tomorrowland side of Cinderella Castle.
- Gold Musical Spinning Popcorn Tin - this tin has been spotted recently at EPCOT at the popcorn cart outside of Creations Shop.
- Mickey Toy Soldier Drummer Sipper - while not a popcorn bucket, I wanted to share this adorable holiday offering with you! The drink sipper features Mickey Mouse outfitted as a toy soldier! It's available at both Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe and Pinocchio Village Haus in Magic Kingdom Park (and also available for mobile ordering on the My Disney Experience mobile app!)
Emily, make your list (and check it twice!) for which of these buckets you'd like to bring home with you on your next visit! If you're interested in a non-holiday bucket, check out this recent answer to another guest to give you some ideas of where to find some non-seasonal options!
As far as glow cubes, Emily, I found that
Pizzafari in Animal Kingdom offers an assortment of frozen drinks with glow cubes. I wasn't able to find any holiday-specific offerings on the mobile app or restaurant menus online, but I would recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for special offerings as you count down the days until your visit!
Emily, I hope this helps, and that you'll pop back to
planDisney if we can help with anything else! We hope to see you real soon!
Happy Holidays,
Alison
