    I am a current DVC member with my home resort being BLT. I was thinking about adding on pts. How does that work? If you buy into another resort are you not paying 2 annual dues each yr? Also can you add on to the current contract or is adding on separate?

    Howdy Candice!  Great question!  We have added on multiple times and it is a very simple process. 

    Contact your Guide and they will walk you through the process.  The arrangements will be made via the phone and documents will be sent to your home.  Once you have everything filled out, you return the documents to the Disney Vacation Club and you are set.  You can also add on while you are visiting Disney.

    You will have two contracts.  Some of our maintenance fees ave been combined while others are separate so we do have multiple payments each month for our maintenance fees but it's really not a problem.  Because the various resorts have differing maintenance fees, your Guide will be able to tell you what your maintenance fees will be based on the resort and number of points you are adding on.

    I'm sure your Guide will ensure that this happens but be sure that your new contract has the same use year as your current contract so you can plan your vacations with greater ease.
