Hello. I have a current Disneyland Magic Key Pass but have just finished legally changing my last name after getting married. Is it possible to get the name on my pass updated from my maiden name to my new last name? If so, how would that be done? Thanks!

    Hello, Lauryn!

Welcome to planDisney! Congratulations on your marriage, too! I know from personal experience how much work it is to change your legal name, so I think that effort also deserves a round of applause. That was definitely more work than you would expect!

Having a Magic Key is just the best! I hope you'll get to visit the Disneyland Resort plenty of times over the next year. Because Magic Key passes are nontransferable, changing your name on your pass might not be possible. I recommend calling the phone number for Magic Key Holders to explain your situation and see what the options might be. Even if your maiden name follows you around for a bit longer you should still be just fine to use your Magic Key!

Do you follow the Magic Key Instagram account? It's one of my favorite ways to see the latest news for the parks! Sometimes they even announce magical extras just for Magic Key Holders. I also love visiting Magic Key Terrace for a relaxing snack, and don't forget about the Magic Key discounts!

Lauryn, I hope your "Happily Ever After" is off to a wonderful start. Wishing you all the best!

    Keep moving forward!
