Hello there, Nicholas! Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question. Welcome!
I know it's not fun to consider changing vacation plans, but life gets in the way sometimes. I understand! I'd be happy to share the
Disney Cruise Line cancellation policy and booking terms with you.
It is important to note that if you booked a reservation with restrictions, these specific bookings are nonrefundable. The booking terms for restricted reservations clearly state that these cruise fares are non-refundable and the full payment must be paid at the time of booking. Since you are asking about your deposit, I think it's fairly safe for me to assume that you did not choose a restricted reservation. For sailings that are five nights or less, your deposit will be refunded if you cancel at least 90 days before the vacation commencement date. For sailings of six nights or more, you must cancel at least 120 days prior to the vacation commencement date to receive a refund on your deposit. For suite and concierge stateroom reservations, the deposit is non-refundable.
In most circumstances, you can
cancel your reservation online by signing into your Disney account and selecting the reservation you would like to cancel. Choose the "Modify Reservation" option to cancel or make changes to your reservation. If you used a travel agent to handle your booking, they will need to cancel your reservation. You are always welcome to call Disney Cruise Line if you'd like assistance, too. I've found the agents to be very helpful.
Nicholas, if you have more questions, please sail back to planDisney. My pals and I would love to help you plan a wonderful vacation!
