Welcome back to planDisney, Kristi! It looks like you'll be celebrating a new year at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and combining that visit with a discount would be a great way to budget for more Mickey-shaped snacks or maybe some
Enchanting Extras while you're there!
Kristi, I checked out the current
Special Offers page online and it looks like the current discounts all expire in December 2024 or sooner. Inspired by my favorite New Orleans princess, I dug a little deeper into the historical data to see when discounts have been traditionally announced for the next calendar year, and it looks like 2024 discounts were announced in mid-August of 2023, and the two years before that, the new year discounts were released in late October/early November. So maybe Disney is cooking up some future discounts like Mama Odie and they'll be announcing them soon!
While you await some hopefully magical, money-saving news, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates, as they will usually announce upcoming discounts before they are released. This is also a great resource for updates about special events, new attractions, and other offerings! And their
Foodie Guides are my favorite way to get excited about new treats being introduced during EPCOT festivals or holiday seasons!
Kristi, keep in mind that if you make a reservation or book a vacation package and an offer or discount is later announced, you can usually
modify your reservation online to apply the discount. So if you haven't already made your plans and are ready to do so, you can always lock in your Disney Resort hotel choice and your dates and then keep an eye out for when it might be time to make those changes! You can also always call a helpful Cast Member at
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations directly if you have specific questions about your booking and any future discounts or offers you might find!
I hope this is helpful, and I hope you are able to find the perfect combination of magical things to plan the most practically perfect vacation in 2025. In the meantime, come back to
planDisney with any other questions you might have; we're always happy to help!
Happy Planning,
Alison
