Hello Patricia,
Welcome back to planDisney! It's a joy to assist Guests in their vacation planning for Disney Cruise Line, and I hope to be able to help you as you plan for your upcoming cruise on the
Disney Dream.
The Disney Cruise Line website is frequently being updated in an effort to communicate with Guests and to provide appropriate safety protocols for everyone onboard. I highly recommend that you refer to the
Know Before You Go section of the Disney Cruise Line website prior to cruising so that you can know just what to expect as your cruise draws near. Currently, the
Debarkation Day protocols state that all unvaccinated guests on five-night and longer sailings will be required to take a COVID-19 antigen test (paid for by Disney Cruise Line) on the ship the day before debarking. I understand that this likely won't apply to your sailing party, however there is no other mention of offering tests to Guests onboard at this time.
I'm currently planning a cruise to Europe and recognize that figuring out where and when to test to meet current requirements can be challenging. I did some research and noticed that the Orlando International Airport does have testing options that may fulfill your requirements, however I recognize that with your desire to fly home the day that you embark, it would not be 48 hours in advance. I'm wishing on a star that something in your travel arrangements can be adjusted to fulfill the requirements.
Thank you for sailing on over to planDisney. Please return if you have any further questions for us.
