Bonjour, Tamara! Welcome back to planDisney, mon amie! I'm so glad you're here with another fantastic planning question.
If you're anything like me, the food is part of the fun on a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. But like our favorite little French chef, Remy says, "Change is nature." Sometimes, even the best-laid pixie-dusted plans change! So, let's chat about cancelation policies, shall we?
While the
Advance Dining Reservation cancelation policies can be different for different restaurants, currently, most of the restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort require that you cancel your reservation at least two hours before your reservation time to avoid a cancelation fee. However, since some restaurants, dining packages and dessert parties have different policies that require cancelation anywhere from two hours to seven days prior, I recommend checking the policy stated at the bottom of your dining reservation confirmation email to be sure. Avoiding cancelation fees means more money for snacks!
If you do cancel a dining reservation, I recommend heading over to the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, which is currently in full swing. Some of my favorite items from the Global Marketplaces this year are the Beef Wagyu Don from Japan, the Potato and Pea Samosa with Plant-based Coriander-Lime Cream from India and
every item on Emile's Fromage Montage. YUM! Enjoy!
I hope this was helpful, Tamara, and I hope your upcoming vacation is full of food and fun! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
Bon appetit,
Mandy
