Hello, what is the current bus situation like? The last two times (2021) we have stayed at Pop Century and Art of Animation, the bus lines to both MK and Epcot have been almost an hour. Transport from Disney springs to either resort was over an hour.

    Howdy Lorraine!

Welcome to planDisney!  Oh boy!  I know you are excited to be at “The Most Magical Place on Earth” in just a few weeks!  Thank you for stopping by and sharing this great question with us, Lorraine!

Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during January is always extra special!  Since the Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating 50 years of “Making Dreams Come True,” this year will be EPIC!  I am so happy to see that you will be visiting in time to enjoy the EPCOT Festival of the Arts!  I am super excited to see everything this unique festival will bring to guests this year!

My family and I have enjoyed calling Disney’s Pop Century Resort our “Home Away From Home” on many of our visits to Neverland!  Now that Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offer transportation to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios via Disney’s Skyliner, busing has been so much easier!  I am so sorry to hear that you experienced long waits to board a Disney Bus during your last visits!  While waiting for your bus transportation, you will see a Disney Transport board.  This board will reflect the arrival of the following Disney Bus and its destination.  The times may vary by a few minutes due to traffic, but it should not change a lot.  If you find that you are waiting for 30-minutes or so to board a bus to the theme parks, I recommend stepping inside and speaking with a Cast Member at Guest Relations.  The Cast Member will be able to assist you from that point!  If you are visiting Disney Springs and find that you have the same situation, I recommend speaking with a Cast Member in the busing area, and they will be able to assist you further!  Delays can happen due to traffic, an influx of guests boarding buses simultaneously, and many more reasons.  Rest assured that Mickey and his pals want you to make “Memories to Last a Lifetime,” and the fantastic Cast Members are always doing their best to “Make Magic Around Every Corner!”

As you continue to plan your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, check the Disney Parks Blog!  The Disney Parks Blog recently announced the EPCOT Festival of the Arts and all the fantastic fun things to see and do during your visit!  If you have any more questions about transportation or any other planning questions, please come back to planDisney!  We are so happy you shared your question with us and look forward to helping you with all your future planning questions so that your vacation will be a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious time, Lorraine!

    See Ya Real Soon,
