What are the current blackout dates for placeholders for the remaining of 2023 and 2024

    Ahoy, Barry!

Did you book a placeholder on your last Disney Cruise Line vacation? It’s one of the first things I do after taking a picture with Captain Mickey. I’m not sure when you last sailed, but there are so many delightful things to look forward to the rest of this year and beyond. Two of the ships are utilizing DisneyBand+ technology; there’s a new island destination to explore next summer; and, hopefully, a new ship towards the end of 2024.

Blockout dates are usually during peak travel periods and holidays. I would list all the dates, but they vary by ship. You can find a current list on the Disney Cruise Line website. Now the hard part! Deciding on a ship and itinerary! If you dream of setting sail in the coming months, I recommend a themed Halloween on the High Seas or Very Merrytime Cruise. Every Disney Cruise is filled with fun, but a themed holiday sailing is extra special. Reach out to a reservation specialist, and they can turn your placeholder into a magical cruise.

Meet the Panelist: Tracie, Florida

Ahoy! Just like Moana, I feel the irresistible call of the sea. I think the best vacation is aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship – thankfully, my family agrees. Whether savoring gelato in Italy, snorkeling in Mexico, or basking in the sea breeze on deck, each destination fills us with memories to last a lifetime. I look forward to helping your family plan a Disney Cruise Line adventure brimming with cherished moments!
