Hello, I am a current annual passholder and would like to add my granddaughter who will be turning 3 soon. Can I purchase a pass for her and what would that cost be. I currently pay monthly. Thank you

    Hello,

Thank you for stopping by planDisney Cynthia. We are going to stop by with this important question about an annual pass for your granddaughter. The gift of an annual pass keeps on giving all year long. I think it’s a fantastic gift to give.

Annual Passholders are able to visit all year long, that means more magic during the year than normal. As someone who lives out of state, it helps me take more trips. But they are for smaller periods of time. If you are planning on getting your granddaughter an annual pass once she turns three you’ll have to consider a couple of things. Only residents of the state of Florida are able to use the monthly payment plan. If she is a resident of Florida, you should coordinate the annual pass with her guardian so that they can add it to her My Disney Experience account. These accounts are managed by an adult until the age of 13. If she is not a resident of Florida, then she would not be eligible for the monthly payment plan. You would need to purchase an Incredi-Pass for someone who lives outside of the state of Florida. This is the page for the costs of an Annual Pass and when you are ready to purchase you can use the same link.

Being an Annual Passholder comes with a bunch of benefits. No matter which park is your favorite, you’ll be able to spend extra time in the parks. Some of the other benefits are discounts on select merchandise and dining. There are always some really cool magnets that are being offered. There are passholder merchandise, and sometimes even snacks. There are even savings on special events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. One of my favorite perks is a very simple one free parking at the parks. Not having to worry about paying to park my vehicle makes each park visit a little bit more sweet. As a passholder, you can even find discounts to Disney resorts collection hotels from time to time. This makes those stays a little more fun, knowing you can just visit EPCOT just for some food and then head over to Hollywood Studios for just one drop on Tower of Terror. Customizing you’re perfect Disney day is what having an annual pass is all about.

I hope you are able to have a years full of fun with your granddaughter at the parks. If you have any other questions visit us again at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
