Hi! I am curious about using the quick service dining plan for the first time. Besides alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks, are bottled beverages, such as juice, milk, bottled Coke products and bottled water eligible for use as the beverage a meal?

    Hello Andrea,

Welcome to planDisney! It was wonderful news to hear that the Disney Dining Plans are returning to the Walt Disney World Resort beginning on January 9, 2024. This is a great way to pre-pay for many vacation meals and snacks, giving you peace of mind and an easy way to enjoy your theme park days on the go. Let’s see what’s going to be provided with the Quick Service Dining Plan when it returns next year.

Each quick service meal will include a beverage, and I spoke with a helpful Disney Cast Member to confirm if bottled beverages would be included for this specific entitlement. They shared that most Quick Service Dining locations in the theme parks do not serve bottled drinks, and you typically receive a cup with the fountain soda or a bottled water, but that children’s meal drinks such as juice or milk are typically offered in their own container. More Quick Service Dining locations in the resorts offer a variety of bottled beverages but you are encouraged to ask at the time of placing your order if they are included in the Quick Service Dining Plan meal or not. Cast Members at those specific locations will know exactly what’s included in the policy as they finalize your meal order once the Quick Service Dining Plan launches in January 2024.

Bottled Coca-Cola products and bottled water are included as one of your snack allotments for each day, Andrea. Each Guest can redeem a snack credit for one of these bottles per night of your stay. You will also receive a Resort Refillable mug, which allows you to get many refills of your favorite soda, tea, water, and more at Disney Resorts Collection hotel refillable stations (typically located at their Quick Service Dining locations and pool decks). These souvenir mugs are a great way for each family member to always have their own favorite beverage and the cups are a fun reminder of your vacation once you get home, too.

Don’t forget that you will receive all your dining plan credits at once when you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort, giving you flexibility to use them as you wish throughout your stay. For example, if you have four people in your family for three nights, you can use the daily snack credits to get twelve bottles of Coca-Cola or bottled water on your first day to use throughout the trip, if you wish. The flexibility of the plan means you can use these meal and snack credits in the best way for your family. With over 100 dining locations participating in the Quick Service Dining Plan, you are sure to find something that suits everyone each day.

I hope this helps you see what’s possible for your trip next year to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please let us know what other questions you have as you plan your special vacation – we’d love to help you make the most of your experience!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy
