Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Barbara!
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad to hear that you have a special connection to the
Disney music that makes the parks so magical. I understand how you might miss it and feel nostalgic for the place you've grown to love. But it's important to remember that there are so many other elements that make the park special. I just know you will adore the new nighttime spectacular “
Wondrous Journeys” the next time you visit. It is gorgeously filled with so many of the most heartfelt scenes woven together from all 100 years of Disney animation in a way that made my heart ache in the best way.
Barbara, since I live just around the riverbend from the Disneyland Resort, I usually enter from the
drop-off location on Harbor Boulevard. Although I didn't hear any music playing outside the park today, the colorful banners with Mickey and his friends wearing their
Disney100 platinum best always make me smile as I head to the entrance.
I often meet friends at the
Downtown Disney District, and it is usually
vibrating with live music all day long. And Barbara, have you tried spotting
hidden Mickeys around the park? It's such a fun activity and discovering them on your own makes you feel like you're part of a secret club! Plus, there's nothing like the friendly cast members and the shared joy and wonder of fellow visitors to make your visit extra special.
In the end, it's the experiences and memories that make a Disney visit so magical. Whether it's the rides, the food, the people, or even just the atmosphere, there are countless ways to make lasting memories that will stay with you for years to come. So don't worry too much about the absence of Disney music outside of the parks - embrace all the other wonderful aspects of the resort grounds and enjoy your visit to the fullest!
See ya real soon,Danielle
