Hi Alice!
Thanks for coming by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are getting ready for an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your family. A trip to visit Mickey and friends is always special, but it's even more special when you can travel with your extended family. We are planning a visit in just a few weeks with my parents and I'm so excited to experience the magic of the theme parks together with my kids and my parents!
Standard theme park tickets will allow you entry into one theme park per day. This includes re-entry into the same theme park during that day, which is the perfect way to take a break from the theme park for an afternoon rest, to enjoy some of the fantastic restaurants outside of the theme parks or to visit Disney Springs. Keep in mind that re-entry is not guaranteed if the parks close due to capacity. So if you will be visiting on the busiest days of the year, such as Christmas Day or Fourth of July, then you may not be able to return to a theme park if you leave and the park later reaches its full capacity.
In general, my family often takes breaks during a busy theme park day so we have plenty of energy to enjoy the
nighttime activities at Walt Disney World Resort. While the Park Hopper Option will allow you to visit multiple theme parks each day, you don't need it if you will be re-entering the same theme park you enjoyed earlier that day.
Let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
