Hi, I was just curious if the projections for the Halloween show at Disneyland are the same projections on the castle as on small world of if they’re different projections. Thank you!

Hi, Typhanni! Welcome back to planDisney! We always love when you stop by. I'm so thrilled you have a visit to Disneyland coming up and am excited for all the frightful fun you're about to experience at Halloween Time

Thank you for your great question! Our family's favorite spot to view the fireworks is over by "it's a small world," as the crowds are usually much lighter back there! Projections are generally the exact same at "it's a small world" as at the castle with only a few slight modifications and will be up on the attraction's facade, so make sure you have a clear view. Plan to arrive 30-45 minutes before the show is scheduled to begin to claim a spot.

I encourage you to check the Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland website under "Fireworks & Nighttime Entertainment," for the most current information and to see which dates fireworks may be occurring during your visit and the show time. Make sure your particular date is selected from the "Change Date" at the top.

All that said, it's important to know that the schedule can change at any time and fireworks at Disneyland Park can also be cancelled last minute due to weather, unfortunately. If fireworks are cancelled, projections only are usually shown.

You're in for such a ghoulishly good time in Disneyland, Typhanni, because October is one of my favorite times of year to visit - honestly! Haunted Mansion Holiday! Darling Themed Dining! Radiator Screams! It's all just so festive and fun. You're in for a real treat! Speaking of treats, you'll definitely want to check out the Halloween Foodie Guide before your visit and start creating your must-try list! Good luck narrowing it down! My family once changed around our entire visit after seeing that Foodie Guide, just to make sure we were there to eat some of those treats - it's that good!

I hope this information has been helpful! And remember, if any other planning questions come up, anything from how to utilize the Disneyland app or more details about Halloween Time, please don't hesitate to reach out to me and ask another question! I'd love to share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time in Disneyland!

Above all, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you the most magical visit, Typhanni!
