Greetings, Samantha! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!
Early admission is one of my favorite topics to write about because my family takes advantage of this perk each and every day we visit the parks! As a Guest of one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels, you are entitled to
Extra Magic Hour every day of your stay - regardless of the length of your theme park tickets. (Magic Morning is for Guests not staying on-property who have three-day or longer tickets.) So, you can enter Disneyland Park one hour early on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and Disney California Adventure Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The extra hour at Disney California Adventure Park is only for hotel Guests, so you can really get a lot done at this park early in the morning.
You will want to look at the
park hours for your travel dates as the start of Extra Magic Hour varies depending on operating schedules. Sometimes it's even as early as 7:00 a.m. at Disneyland Park and I absolutely love it when the park opens at that time. It sounds early, but us Coloradans (and anyone coming from east of California) have an advantage because of the time zone change, so it's really not so hard to get an early start. We get so much done in the mornings that by the time my daughter needs a break after lunch, we feel really accomplished and welcome a bit of time to rest.
I would love to help you continue to plan your visit, including sharing all my Extra Magic Hour strategies, so please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again! Have a magical day!
