i was curious about the EMH. How do the cast members know who is staying on property? i can understand the morning EMH where you are scanning your band. but at night? do they go around asking people??

    Hi, Candice!

Extra Magic Hours are a lot of fun and one of my favorite perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Check the park hours to determine which parks will be open late or early so you can plan your schedule accordingly.

For morning Extra Magic Hours, MagicBands are scanned before entering parks. When enjoying evening Extra Magic Hours, a cast member will be at the entrance of each attraction, scanning MagicBands. Only guests staying on property will be permitted once regular park hours are over. Cast members are also stationed at several points around the park (for example, near the entrance to Tomorrowland), and guests must again present their MagicBand to be scanned, as all other guests will need to make their way to the park exit.

In addition to the Extra Magic Hours, as a Disney Resort guest, you will also enjoy complimentary transportation around property, complimentary parking at your resort and theme parks, Disney's Magical Express airport transportation, complimentary MagicBands and more! The magic never ends when staying at one of the beautiful Walt Disney World Resorts hotels!
