Just curious, is there a way to be on the dining plan and not center your whole trip around running to make dining reservations? How do you guys schedule your meals?

Hi Jennifer - I think it really depends on which dining plan you are referring to.  If you choose the deluxe dining plan, you probably will need quite a few dining reservations.  The quick service plan, on the other hand, wouldn't require any dining reservations, as the quick service locations don't take reservations.

My family typically gets the standard dining plan with one quick service, one table service, and one snack per day, and generally make one reservation per day.  We usually make breakfast or dinner reservations, not lunch, so our day in anchored by a reservation.  While we do sometimes have to rush to make it to a reservation in time, in general, it's pretty easy to coordinate.

I hope that helps.  I really think it comes down to personal preference.  If you do decide to make reservations, I do feel that the dining plan offers some value.

    Have a great vacation!
