Can you get a cup of water for free in restaurants

    Hi, Tracey!

With so much walking and the beautiful Florida sunshine, it is super important to stay hydrated during your visit to Walt Disney World. Cups of ice water are complimentary at counter service locations, so feel free to stop by whenever you need a quick drink. I like to get the cups of water in lieu of purchasing bottled water. First of all, the cups of ice water are free. And second, I am not a fan of carrying around a bag full of water bottles all day, so I like to enjoy my refreshing water, then toss away the paper cup.

Some guests simply prefer bottled water, and that is fine, too! You are welcome to bring you own bottled water into the park or bottled water is readily available for purchase around the parks. Please, no glass bottles or alcoholic beverages, and only small, soft sided coolers. (See complete list for details.)

During your magical days, make sure to take some breaks. Relax on a bench in the shade, or pop into a quick service location for a rest in the air conditioning! Pace yourself, as you do not want to be over-tired after just a day or two. Take breaks, rest in your hotel room, or enjoy your resort hotel's pool.

Wishing you a magical vacation when you visit Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
