CS has been our resort of choice the last 3 trips + love love love it! We are thinking of mixing it up and trying POR but we're VERY worried that the bus sharing with POFQ will be overly frustrating for us. 3 adults, going for 9 days late September. HELP!

    Hello Roxanne,

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is a fantastic resort. My family has stayed there once and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm excited to hear that you are thinking of trying something new, though. I have a running goal to stay at each and every resort at least once. I'm almost there with only 3 left. It is lots of fun to see the differences and compare the amenities such as the pool and the resort size, as well as the transportation and overall theming.

To answer your question, I would highly recommend Disney's Port Orleans Riverside. It is actually my favorite of the moderate resorts. The southern charm and quiet serenity of this location is really nice. Yes, the two Port Orleans "sister" resorts share a bus route, but in actuality, it only adds one bus stop to the mix, as Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter has only one stop right next to the main building. In comparison to Disney's Coronado Springs, it has only one more bus stop, since Coronado Springs has four total and Riverside also has four and French Quarter has one. So, it really isn't that much of a difference.

I hope this helps in making your decision. Have a magical time planning and please let me know if I can help you with any other questions.
