When will The Crystal Palace resume character dining?

    Hello Alyssa,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Summer is going to fly by, and before you know it you'll be joining The World's Most Magical Celebration!

Character dining at The Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and his pals from the Hundred-Acre Wood is one of our family's favorite places to start our day in Magic Kingdom. Like you, I am impatiently waiting for characters to make their way back. There still hasn't been an announcement for The Crystal Palace, but keep checking Disney Parks Blog for updates.

In the meantime, you may want to consider some alternatives. Even if they aren't the same Tigger-ific experience you're waiting for, there are still plenty of excellent options that will add some magic to your Disney day. You can dine with Mickey and his pals at Chef Mickey's in Disney's Contemporary Resort. Be Our Guest Restaurant is another popular spot; dining in the West Wing is my favorite. Another option to consider is taking a boat ride to Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort. My family loves the antics at Whispering Canyon Café, and Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is a fantastic immersive new character dining option.

You still have some time before you can make your dining reservations, so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and send you some virtual pixie dust.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
