    Hi Crystal! Do you know if the Tutto Italia at Epcot can accommodate a gluten free diet? We have wanted to dine in Italy for a long time. Thanks!

    I am so happy to answer another question for you! I have always wanted to dine in Italy at Epcot's World Showcase too! It is definitely one of my favorite pavilions to enjoy on a day at Epcot! I do not have any personal experience accommodating a gluten-free diet, but did a little bit of research to answer your question. Table service restaurants that take dining reservations can accommodate most food allergies or intolerances. Since gluten is included in the list of "common food allergies" on the Special Dietary Requests page, Tutto Italia Ristorante should be able to accommodate a gluten-free request. As with any dining reservation, I recommend that you include the gluten-free on your dining reservation. You can do this either online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. I would also suggest you speak with the Chef at the restaurant prior to ordering to discuss safe food options for your meal.

    For our son's allergies, we often have to consider cross-contamination as a factor when selecting places to dine. While we have found that Chefs and Cast Members do everything possible to ensure our son has a safe experience, there are some cases where my husband and I have decided that it will be easier to enjoy a different option. So you may want to consider having a fantastic meal at Chefs De France or Rose & Crown Dining Room and then follow it up with a sweet treat and an espresso at Gelati in Italy.
