Hi Crystal, I am debating whether to rent a double BOB stroller or 2 singles for our 3 & 6 year olds. Would the double BOB be to bulky to fit through doorways & in the candy lines at MNSSHP? We are driving to WDW & staying at the Contemporary.

    Hi Pamela!

You are getting ready to enjoy some of my family's favorite things. Disney's Contemporary Resort is my husband's favorite Disney Resort hotel. He loves watching the monorail go through the main tower of the hotel! Plus, it's so convenient to be able to walk to Magic Kingdom. And I'm so excited to hear that you are planning on enjoying Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Be sure to plan on seeing Mickey's "Boo to You" Halloween Parade as it's my favorite parade at Walt Disney World Resort!

A big part of the fun of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the opportunity to Trick-or-Treat in the theme park and you will find Trick-or-Treat locations located throughout the theme park. While I haven't had a chance to enjoy this year's party, in previous years the queues for candy at the party have accommodated strollers and have been large enough to accommodate both single and double strollers. We used our double BOB stroller when we enjoyed the party, but we have used both single and double strollers for our two little ones in the past.

I find that double strollers can be a challenge to navigate through narrow spots like merchandise shops and some doorways in the theme parks. Two single strollers are nice because it allows us to split up if we need to, but I think I prefer using the double stroller because one adult can push both kids, leaving the other adult's hands completely free. Plus, using a double stroller eliminates the discussions (and sometimes disagreements) my boys have over which parent pushes their individual strollers.

Let me know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
