Greetings, Lillian, and welcome to planDisney. Nothing says royalty more than a tiara, and the Disneyland Resort is the perfect place to get one!
When I recently visited Disneyland, the "Design Your Own Tiara" experience was unique to
Cristal d'Orleans in New Orleans Square. It looked like a lot of fun – you'd select a tiara (in different colors and styles) and then choose crystals in various colors to adorn it. Then, you’ll watch a Cast Member bring the tiara to life right before your eyes.
Crystal Arts on Main Street, U.S.A. has a wonderful selection of ready-to-wear tiaras. Check back, though, since experiences and offerings are always subject to change.
Both locations offer personalization of certain glassware, which would make for a great souvenir or gift. I never grow tired of looking at the intricate crystal figurines – stop by Crystal Arts to see if the stunning Sleeping Beauty Castle replica is still on display! You might also find seasonal items available for purchase at each location, as with other shops around the Resort.
Meeting Disney Princesses is a fun part of any Disneyland visit, and it would be extra memorable with your new tiara!
Royal Hall is one of my family's favorite spots, since you’ll have a chance to meet between two and three princesses. You can also use the
Disneyland mobile app to see when and where Characters will be visiting with Guests.
The fun doesn’t stop at tiaras. Throughout the Disneyland Resort, select locations offer personalization of items like ear headbands and caps. I’ve gotten a faux leather ear headband hand-painted at
Plaza Point on Main Street, U.S.A. before! These are other fun ways to create one-of-a-kind souvenirs that you can wear during your visit and enjoy long after your trip ends.
