I have to use a crutch due to my personal disability, and we have 4 children who need to be in strollers. I am not able to push a double stroller, nor can my husband push 2….what are our options since stroller wagons are not allowed?

    Hi Kyra,

I see you will be visiting this fall and I am so excited for you!  Fall is one of my favorite times of the year to visit.  I hope your timing will coincide with the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, as it is one of those "bucket" list items whenever my visit coincides with the festival.

As a mom of 4 kiddos myself, I understand the need to plan all of the details of travel well before your travel date.  That way when the vacation is upon us, all we need to do is enjoy the Magic!  Although my kiddos are older now, I do have younger friends and relatives and they had some great suggestions for you regarding a stroller for 4 children.

As you may have discovered, the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules specify that strollers must be no greater than 31 inches wide by 52 inches long and stroller wagons are not permitted.  There are several strollers on the market which accommodate this size restriction and allow for up to 4 children in the stroller.  One brand is Zoe which offers a triple and a quad stroller which fit these size requirements.  Both of these strollers may also be converted to a double stroller as your needs change.  If you spend a little time doing an internet search, you should be able to find a product that meets your needs for having 4 children in a stroller and that also fits within the posted stroller size restrictions.

Since you mention a mobility disability yourself, I wanted to let you know about Services for Guests With Mobility Disabilities at Walt Disney World Resort.  Additionally, should you find that you need to Rent a Wheelchair or ECV for yourself, you may do so in any of the theme parks or through the Disney featured provider.  A good friend of mine wears ankle foot orthotics for everyday household ambulation but finds it more enjoyable to use an ECV for long distances while vacationing at Walt Disney World.

I hope you find this information useful when planning your upcoming vacation.  Please come back and visit us again with all of your vacation planning questions!

    See Ya Real Soon,
