We are crusing on the Dream in June, 2011. While checking in, I had to choose a check in time. Can we arrive earlier? And if we don't purchase photo credits ahead of time, how much are photos?

    Ahoy, Laurie!

Isn't it thrilling to be so close to your sail date aboard Disney Cruise Line? Congratulations on your cruise aboard the beautiful Disney Dream -- you're going to want to go aboard as soon as possible.

When checking in, the terminal gives a check-in time in an effort to stagger arrivals.  However, if you are at Port Canaveral when the terminal opens at 10:30 a.m., rest assured that they are going to want to process as many guests as possible as soon as possible.  The sooner you check in, the more likely you'll be able to board at an earlier time.

As far as photo costs, you have to know that prices are subject to change without notice and can vary from ship to ship and cruise to cruise. There are specials offered based on special events and the length of your cruise, but I've outlined some prices of my most recent cruise below to give you an idea:

    6x8 photos -- $9.95 each
    8x10 photos -- $19.95 each

    6x8 Packages:
    10 photos - $84.95
    15 photos - $119.95
    20 photos - $149.95
    30 photos - $219.95

    Mixed Photo Packages
    $169.95 -- Any 5 - 6x8 photos & Any 8 - 8x10 photos
    $239.95 -- Any 8 - 6x8 photos & Any 12 - 8x10 photos
    $299.95 -- Any 12 - 6x8 photos & Any 15 - 8x10 photos

    Photo CD Prices: 3-Night Cruise - $249.95/4-Night Cruise - $299.95

Hopefully, this will help you compare and make an informed decision. Plus, Shutters also offers several photo products such as cards and items to imprint. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
