We are crusiing with Disney in February and will arrive two days prior to For Lauderdale. I am trying to figure out best plan for getting from airport to hotel then to port without car seats. I know Disney offers bus but we will need to go to hotel first

    Ahoy, Kevin!

Welcome back to planDisney. As fellow Disney Cruise Line guests like you, it's a pleasure to offer advice and recommendations informed by our lived experiences vacationing "where magic meets the sea." It turns out that my family and I have also booked a Disney cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are feeling excited as we look forward to sailing with Captains Mickey and Minnie again!

As you are aware, Disney Cruise Line currently offers ground transfers between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and the Port Everglades cruise terminal. They also offer transfers between select Fort Lauderdale-area hotel partners (currently including Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina and Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa) and the cruise terminal. Transportation providers arranged through the Disney Cruise Line usually employ motorcoach buses. They will be equipped with high-back seats and seatbelts, allowing for safe transportation of infants and small children regardless of whether you happen to have your own child seat.

Transportation between the airport and the hotel is not currently offered by the Disney Cruise Line. I recommend reaching out directly to your hotel to determine what shuttle services they may provide. Or you may utilize another third-party transportation provider such as a rideshare service that may offer child car seat options. For example, if you search the Internet for something like "rideshare service for families in Fort Lauderdale," you may find a handful of service providers who cater to young families.

Despite my recommendation to follow Peter Pan's advice on growing up, my young sailors have failed to heed that counsel. So I'm feeling quite envious that you and your littles still have some of that precious time of life to enjoy aboard the Disney Cruise Line. Our children thoroughly enjoyed their time in the kids' clubs when they were younger. We have one left who is still able to participate in the Vibe club for teens. I hope she savors every last minute of those youthful joys!

May you have fair weather and following seas, Kevin!
