Cruising/flying out of Miami on spring break. $500 difference between a return flight that departs at 10:15 a.m. and one that departs at 2:00 p.m. The itinerary says we return to port at 7:30 a.m. Is it realistically possible to make the earlier flight?

Hi Aaron,

I'll be honest with you. It would kill me to pay an extra $500 for airfare due to a couple of hours difference, but I strongly suggest that you do not book that 10:15am flight. The 7:30 am arrival to port is not guaranteed. You have breakfast available, which you can choose to skip, but you have to get off the ship, claim your luggage and go through U.S. Customs along with everyone else. It is not a terribly long process, but it is still a process. You also have to consider that you have to get through Miami traffic to the airport. The traffic in Miami (especially getting to the airport) is really congested.
