We are cruising the Wonder on Apr 21 for 7 nights (Mexico). It is our first cruise, and I am wondering how the shows work. I know there are 3 - are there 2/3 showings of each and you choose what nights to attend? Do you know which movies will be playing?

    Hi Katie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Wahoo!  You are going on your first Disney Cruise Line vacation and it will be here SO SOON!  Before you know it, you will be celebrating on deck as you depart San Diego and head for the Mexican Riviera for a WONDERful week at sea!

There are so many amazing things about a Disney Cruise Line vacation, but by far one of the best are the nightly shows in the Walt Disney Theatre.  Each night you are onboard there will be some sort of show – whether it be a live, Broadway-style show or a variety act, it will be enjoyed by all.  While onboard entertainment is always subject to change and not announced until once onboard, I am unable to let you know which shows to expect during your voyage, but the Disney Wonder is home to the incredible “Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” which is NOT to be missed!  Each evening, there are two shows (same show, two different performances) and which one you attend is dependent on your dining time.  Guests who have main dining will see the second performance and Guests that have second seating for dinner will attend the first performance.  This allows Guests the opportunity to see all the shows and enjoy their dinner without having to choose!

In addition to the live entertainment in the big theatre, first-run movies are shown in the Buena Vista Theatre throughout your time onboard.  The movie line-up has yet to be announced but come back here a little closer to your voyage and we can find out for you or check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator when you get onboard.  There you will find a full schedule of onboard entertainment, activities and LOTS MORE!

Wishing you the most magical of adventures with Captain Mickey…and lots and lots of memories made!

    Happy Sailing!
