Hello, Catherine,I'm glad you are making sure you have everything "practically perfect in every way" for your upcoming Disney cruise. While I personally prefer and recommend using a currently valid passport when cruising, there are other forms of travel documentation that are acceptable. For a round-trip cruise from Florida to the Bahamas, U.S. citizens may present an original birth certificate and a physical government-issued photo ID. Besides a birth certificate, there are a few other documents that may also be used for U.S. citizens, including a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA) or a Certificate of Naturalization. Photocopies of any document or ID card are not accepted. And all passengers aged 16 years or older must have a valid government-issued photo ID to accompany the document used to certify their nationality. Assuming she is a U.S. citizen, your infant daughter will only need an original birth certificate to prove citizenship. My family traveled on the Disney Wonder earlier this year. It was a round-trip cruise to Mexico out of San Diego. One of our children had a passport that had recently expired. But it was perfectly fine to use a birth certificate and government-issued ID. If that's all you have for your daughter and your husband, you are likely going to be fine. If you feel uncertain or uncomfortable, I also recommend purchasing a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Protection Plan or other similar travel insurance policy. Customs and legal logistics related to travel documentation required for other forms of travel would still need to be worked out. But having some peace of mind related to potential expenses for emergencies still helps me feel more relaxed on our Disney cruise vacations. I hope you find a vacation plan that offers a good balance between preparedness and well-deserved enjoyment and relaxation. The Disney Wish is my daughter's favorite ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. You are going to love it. My family enjoyed exploring and experiencing Disney Uncharted Adventure throughout the ship. Our favorite restaurant for dinner was Arendelle. We loved looking over many Walt Disney Studios artifacts on display in 1923 during the breakfast and lunch meals we enjoyed there.Have a magical time, Catherine!~Tony
