Hi Lisa!
I am so excited for your family’s upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! You are in for a FANTASTic adventure at sea with Captain Mickey at the helm!
As a mom who has sailed with my boys since they were both under one, I know how exciting – and somewhat daunting – the thought of traveling with little ones can be! But, luckily Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with littles SO fun and SO convenient! You’ve already arranged for a pack and play in your stateroom and a high chair during dinner, so that is a great start! Your stateroom host can also arrange for you to have a diaper pail in your stateroom which is oh so helpful when in spaces smaller than you are used to! Additionally, your dining room servers will make sure that your little one is happy with the food options, and if you need something specific, just ask! Plan ahead with swim diapers and just as a reminder, children are not allowed in the big pools unless they are fully potty-trained. But, your little one will enjoy
Nemo’s Reef where they can splash, slide and have a FINtastic time!
But…my number one recommendation – schedule time for your little one in the “it’s a small world” nursery! and spend some time onboard without your little one! Maybe catch an adult-exclusive dinner or visit Senses Spa! Just bring a small diaper bag or backpack for your little one to carry their things when you drop them off and enjoy that time!
I am so excited for all the memories you will make – some of my fondest memories are ones my littles don’t even remember! Wishing you a magical and memorable cruise!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
