Holiday cruises are awesome, Krisann!
Going on a Disney Cruise is definitely a memorable way to celebrate the season. The whole ship will be decked out and the minute you step onboard, you and your family will surely be feeling the magic.
Your information does not mention which ship you will be sailing on in December -- but, I'll take a stab at your question, since I completely understand how a parent feels when their kids might be split up while playing at the youth clubs. I was nervous when my daughter was moving up to the Oceaneer Lab several years ago, and my son would still be at the Club (on the Disney Wonder & the older Magic they were separate). But on the newer Disney Dream, Fantasy and re-imagined Magic -- the Oceaneer Club and Lab are a shared and connected space. Kids between 3-12 years old can participate in organized activities by age group... but still have the easy option of being on the lookout for their younger siblings since they all share the same space.
The little ones are pretty surprising -- there's that sudden burst of maturity that comes out. After just a short time by himself at the club, mine had that 'stay cool, Mom... I'm fine doing my own thing...' look. :-) It felt like proud mommy moment.
Your kids will have a blast on board the Disney Cruise ship, Krisann. They can continue to play together at the Oceaneer Club and Lab, or explore activities on their own. Should you have additional questions to help you plan for your upcoming
Very Merrytime Cruise, please do drop us another question. We're always glad to help.
Have a great day!
