We will be cruising for the 2nd time with Disney on a transatlantic from Barcelona next year with our family. We have 2 18 year olds and I was wondering what the alcohol age restriction policy was for sailings from Europe as the age limit is 18 in the UK?

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Gillian!

How exciting to hear that your family will be back onboard the Disney Magic next year on a nice long Transatlantic Cruise. My family loves the longer cruise itineraries - so much pampering to be had! Relaxation automatically kicks in as you enjoy the world-class amenities and the fabulous service that only Disney can provide. And it somehow goes so quick, possibly because you're having so much fun onboard.

The drinking age onboard the ship is 21 years old. Your young adults are able to enjoy the adult-exclusive areas on the ship, since they meet the minimum age restriction of 18 years old. However, if you are sailing roundtrip from Europe, there is a special Onboard Alcohol Policy that you might want to check out.

Though there isn't a Youth Club set out for the 18-year olds, they might want to check out the organized College Club Social when you embark. Schedules and activities may change, but they can check out the Personal Navigator for specific venues and times of meet-ups for the 18 to 25 year old crowd.

Wishing you another awesome voyage with Captain Mickey, Gillian!
