Cruising & stopping in Cozumel & doing the Dolphin Encounter @ Dolphinaris with our kids, our youngest will do Dolphin Kids @ Dolphinaris. Do we still need to buy the observer ticket to join our youngest or are we covered with our 1st ticket?

Welcome back to planDisney Nichelle!   Your magical vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line is quickly approaching.  I hope you and your family are getting excited.

When you book the Port Adventure Dolphin Kids at Dolphinaris, the Disney Cruise Line website states, "Parents and/or guardians must accompany their children on this excursion. Therefore, when booking this excursion for children, parents and/or guardians must also book the Dolphin Observer at Dolphinaris excursion for themselves." Each observer in your traveling party will need to purchase this Port Adventure. At least one of you will need to bring swimwear and be prepared to enter the water just in case your child needs assistance in the water.

If Guests under 18 years of age are participating in either Dolphin Trainer for a Day or Dolphin Swim at Dolphinaris, be sure to read the "Know Before You Go" sections because adult presence is also needed for certain ages for these Port Adventures.

Nichelle, during your days at sea, I hope you take advantage of many of the onboard activities offered. Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to view those activities once you are onboard. You can mark your favorites to get a reminder in the app before they happen.
