Hi there, Michelle!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I sure hope you have the Navigator app's Cruise Countdown Clock set because your
Star Wars Day at Sea sailing is coming up and I know you are eagerly awaiting being onboard for all the fun and excitement that is to come with it! The Disney Fantasy is FANTASTic and the stops you will make will just add to your already wonderful vacation!
Checking on your itinerary, it shows that your All Ashore time for Grand Cayman is 10:30AM but that it does require tendering to the dock. My recommendation would be to allow more time than you currently have scheduled to make it to your destination because the time is always subject to change due to unforeseen reasons and tendering can sometimes take a little longer than you may anticipate. If possible, I would allow at least 90 minutes for tendering and getting to your destination. I would hate for you to miss your planned excursion due to reasons beyond your control, so sometimes allowing some extra time on the front (and back) end of your time onshore is best! While I am sure you have considered it, you may want to take another glance at the
Port Adventure excursions available through Disney Cruise Line. I prefer booking directly with them so that I can be assured that I won’t miss my excursion – or the ship’s departure!
No matter what you opt to do with your time onshore, I am sure you will have a wonderful time with many magical memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
