Hi Tiffany, and welcome to planDisney! I love that your 6-month-old is going on Disney Cruise Line!
I understand that having to fly with one more thing is not how you want to start your vacation. Many people do carry on a case of water. My preference is to buy bottles of water in advance from Disney Cruise Line. They are always in my stateroom when I enter it for the first time on day 1! I will also get filtered water from the beverage stations to fill my reusable water bottle.
If you choose to order water from Disney Cruise Line in advance, access the "
Already Booked" tab, then "Onboard Gifts". You will need your reservation number and the last name of one of the Guests on the reservation. There are a few different quantities you can purchase, and the current listing is for Dasani and Smartwater. You can also purchase bottles of water from the bars throughout the ship once you embark.
If you have a water brand preference, then it is probably best to travel with water if you can't make a stop before you arrive at the port. You will not be able to check the water at the port; you must carry it on. Your carry-on bag must be no larger than 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep to fit through the security scanner.
Disney Cruise Line does
provide access to other items to hopefully make you and your little one's magical cruise a little more comfortable. You can request a complimentary crib, bottle warmer, bottle sterilizer, and diaper disposal unit from your stateroom host. There are also essential supplies like diapers and ready-to-feed formula available for purchase.
Tiffany, I hope this has been helpful as you prepare for your upcoming cruise. I know you and your family will have a wonderful vacation. If you have any other questions, sail back to
planDisney. Me and my pals will be happy to help.
Adventure is out there!
