Hello, Georgia! It’s lovely to see you at planDisney. Welcome!
What an enchanting adventure you have planned on the Disney Dream this summer. The 7-Night Northern Europe and Norwegian Fjords Cruise stops at some beautiful coastal towns. I can’t wait for you to experience the rich history at every port of call.
Disney Cruise Line
Port Adventures are a convenient way to experience a new place. Your guide will expertly navigate you away from the crowds, so you’ll have more time to enjoy the beauty around you. If you’d like to tour on your own, I recommend doing a little bit of research about each port before you embark on your vacation. The Port Adventures desk can often provide information, advice, and the occasional map, but they will not secure independent transportation for you to local attractions.
As you know, public transportation is a wonderful option in Europe. You can often find a train or bus to take you to your desired location. When we were in Alaska recently, the port had a free shuttle to take us into town and back. Be mindful of the all-aboard time and leave plenty of time to return to the ship. Captain Mickey has a tight schedule and will not wait for you if you miss the all-aboard call. The only exception to this is if you are booked on a ship-sponsored Port Adventure that is running late.
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the most up-to-date port information. The app will list the local weather, the all-aboard time, and all the onboard fun planned for your voyage. Speaking of entertainment. I can’t wait for you to experience all the sparkling surprises during
Disney Cruise Line’s Silver Anniversary at Sea celebration. In honor of this milestone anniversary, there are unique culinary delights, exclusive merchandise, and brand-new family-friendly entertainment.
I hope you have the best time ever making magical memories with your family. If you have any other questions, please visit us again.
SEAS the adventure!
