    When cruising to the port of Hilo in Hawaii, is there rental car availability at the port? If not, I know the port is close to the airport there. Is there any form of transportation we can take from the port to the airport car rental facilities?

    Hello, Jessica! Welcome back to planDisney. It's wonderful to have you cruise our way with your question. 

    First of all, I'm jealous of your Hawaiian itinerary! A Disney Cruise to Hawaii is on my "must-do" list. I hope you have an incredible time. If you are wishing to reserve a rental car for your time in Hilo, I do recommend that you make a reservation in advance. Many car rental companies provide complimentary shuttles from the cruise port to their car rental facilities at the nearby airport. As you make your reservation, keep your eyes peeled to make sure there is a place to note that you will be arriving at the cruise port, and you will be all set!

    Whether you'll be visiting the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, nearby shopping, museums, gardens, or some other beautiful destination, I hope you have the best time ever exploring Hawaii's Big Island. If you'd like to leave the travel plans to Disney Cruise Line, I invite you to review the Port Adventures that will be offered for your sailing. However you choose to spend your time, I'm sure it will be memorable!
